Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

This policy explains what information Miss Cardio collects, why, and what you can do about it. We've tried to write it the way we'd actually explain it to a friend, not as dense legal filler.

The short version: we collect your email, your workout activity, and whether you have an active subscription. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't share anything with anyone except the handful of services that actually run the app (listed below).

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in, we collect your email address. That's the only thing we require — there's no password to create, and we don't ask for your name, phone number, or anything else to get started.

Workout activity. As you use the app, we save which sections and tasks you complete, any adjustments you make (like swapping equipment or changing sets and reps), and the dates you were active. This is what powers your History calendar and streaks.

Subscription and billing status. We keep a record of whether your account is on a free trial, actively subscribed, or canceled, along with a reference ID that our payment processor, Stripe, uses to identify your account. We never see, collect, or store your card number, expiration date, or any other payment details — those go directly to Stripe.

Reminder preferences. If you turn on daily reminders, we store the time you'd like to be reminded.

Support communications. If you email us, we keep that conversation so we can help you and follow up if needed.

2. How We Use This Information

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build any kind of profile on you for marketing purposes.

3. Who We Share It With

We use a small number of service providers to actually run Miss Cardio. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.

4. Data Retention

We keep your account and workout history for as long as your account is active, so your streaks and history stay intact. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep records (for example, billing history) for legal or accounting purposes.

5. Your Choices

6. Children's Privacy

Miss Cardio is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we'll remove it.

7. Security

We rely on industry-standard practices from our service providers — encrypted connections, access controls, and row-level database security that ensures your data is only ever visible to you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Miss Cardio after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
